Hi Friends! I just wanted to check in with you briefly. Work is still (slowly) continuing on the book. I didn’t get a ton done this weekend because I wasn’t feeling that great, but I’m hitting it hard today.
I wish I had more for you but I don’t. 😦 Just trying to stay focused and meet some goals, you know what I mean?

My best friend is coming to visit this weekend so I’m not going to be posting anything today or Monday. I’ll be back soon, thanks for giving me some time!
Hi friends. I hope you are having a great week. I wanted to get a post up today to kind of update you all. Hello friends, it’s time to check in with my NaNo progress for this week!
Word Count: 21,404. This doesn’t include the writing I’m going to do today!
On target? Yes and no. As predicted, I wasn’t able to do a lot of writing last weekend. Okay, I didn’t write at all. So this week, I’ve upped my daily word count to catch up. I will be back on track tomorrow!
Challenges: My increased word count in addition to the slog of week two is making writing really painful. Sometimes I have to force myself to open Scrivener, or bribe myself with treats. I haven’t given up yet, though!
Victories: My book is really beginning to take shape. It’s so weird because when I started it just kind of felt like I was writing down a bunch of characters and their stories, but now we are really moving and grooving. I also know now that my book is going to be really long before the revision stage begins. I’m talking like 100-150k words. So, I’m probably not going to be done at the end of April. I’ll probably finish in May because I plan on keeping my word count goal at 1,667 every week day until I’m done with the first draft.

Hello friends! I’ve finished another book which means it’s time for another book review. I’ve been pretty busy reading and working out, so I think this blog is a little over due but if I don’t have a book to review then I don’t know what to blog about sometimes.
I almost called this blog post Meditations on Life, but I realized that’s not what this is about. This post is about working on myself. I mentioned it briefly in my last blog, and now I want to talk about what that means. First, I’m going to need to talk a little about myself. Sorry.
Okay, I haven’t written you anything new in a while. I know, and I am sorry. The holidays were good and busy, work has been extremely busy, I’ve started taking on a lot of freelancing work, and I’ve been taking care of me. I think that’s pretty important. Also, I think the only person who reads this is my fiance. Love you!
